This all-inclusive kit features growing medium, small container, and a large bean laser-etched with the phrase "Grow Peace" on one side, and a peace sign on the other. What will they think of next?!
The bean is part of a plant known as Canavalia gladiata, or "jack plant", a decorative annual species that "grows like a weed!". It may be replanted outdoors, but in order for the logo to grow on the bean it must be grown in the vermiculite provided. Vermiculite is a man-made soil free of impurities.
Small enough to fit on the average windowsill, all that is required is sunlight and water, and the first signs of growth show up in about a week! Full instructions are included.
