The folded paper crane is probably the best-known origami design. Many people believe that if you make the effort to fold one thousand paper cranes, you will be blessed with good luck throughout your life.
The origami crane is also regarded as a special offering for world peace. Every year thousands of children in Japan fold garlands of paper cranes to hang from trees in the city of Hiroshima to remember the victims of World War II.
We are pleased to offer miniature renditions of this meaningful origami design. Earrings were designed in the U.S.A., then handcrafted in China by highly skilled artisans who fashion each piece from fine sterling silver and kiln-fired cloisonné enamel.
Earrings measure 0.75" sq. (2 cm). French hook backs for pierced ears. Earrings arrive packaged in a handmade bamboo gift box.
