This necklace's large, lightweight center element is made from a section of a real gourd, chosen for its perfection, dried, and then chiseled with an intricate design in shades of cinnamon, espresso and caramel. The gourd piece is framed in sterling silver, with a hinged hasp suspending it from a thick braided cord that's comfy on the neck.
Sterling and gourd pendant measures 1.5" dia. (3.8 cm); braided brown nylon cord measures 18" L (45.7 cm), and has a sterling silver clasp. Handmade in and fair-trade imported from Peru.
