Rich in history and meaning, our Tibetan Prayer Wheel Necklace is fashioned after real, larger prayer wheels seen in Tibetan monasteries. Crafted from sterling silver, our it bears the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum," which translates "Hail to the jewel in the lotus."
Tibetan Buddhists believe that saying this mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. One turn of the Prayer Wheel is considered to be equal to speaking the Om mantra once, while spinning the Prayer Wheel is believed to cause its energy to travel throughout the world.
